Recruiting : Receptionist to join our Heswall team
Whitfield Business Hub, based in Heswall, Wirral, supply office spaces to a variety of different businesses. We like to treat our tenants more like hotel guests, offering a high level of friendly service. With a wide range of clients we need to be flexible and adaptable to meet their varying needs. Some are large & lively, others very subtle.
We also operate virtual office services, mainly telephone answering & mail handling for remote, mobile or home based businesses. We answer their phone calls in their company name, utilising a loose script, and offer administration services such as booking in jobs, estimates, taking payments; whatever the client needs & trains us to do. Again, an enthusiastic ‘can-do’ attitude is the key to our success.
We have a great atmosphere within our reception team, but due to an impending retirement, a rare opportunity has opened up.
We’re looking for someone with a friendly disposition, presentable & articulate. The job involves peaks & troughs of busyness, so you’ll need to be able to cope under pressure but also be self disciplined to tend to less important tasks during the quieter periods.
We love engaging with the community, in person and on social media, and have occasional events for the tenants (BBQs, drinks, music, etc) so ideally we’d love to recruit someone with a fun, outgoing & confident personality. We also do pop-up shops from time to time & are open minded to experiment with new ideas.
You’ll need to understand the basics of a computer, but full training will be provided. This is a full time roll with flexible working hours and some working from home may be possible. The Hub is dog friendly & with one the tenants being a veterinary practice, it’s ideal for animal lovers.
